Robert Smith the Founding Director of Haringtons Salons Ltd will be cycling leg 1 of the Dallaglio Cycle Slam on 12th February 2010, 679 km over 5 days from Rome to Nice.

Robert will be  celebrating his 50th Birthday in January, along with the 25th anniversary of Haringtons Hairdressing being in business.  Robert felt that this was the perfect time to set himself a new challenge.
Through Haringtons Robert has always supported local schools, groups and charities, and has already donated over £5,500 of services and prizes this year.   However, this time Robert wanted to do something more personal and to raise a large sum of money for a number of worthy causes and to try give to something back for the good fortune he has had, as he realises not everyone has been as fortunate.

The Dallaglio Cycle Slam supports, Sports Relief and the Dallaglio Foundation for Cancer Research UK, Help for Heroes, RPA Benevolent Fund, Leukaemia Research and DebRA.
