Haringtons’ stars of the future were identified at our 13th annual training awards, called the H Awards, at Maidenhead’s Norden Farm Centre for the Arts on Sunday 8th November.
One of the biggest winners of the night was second year trainee Joe Price from Haringtons in Marlow (pictured with Haringtons Director David Lambert and Jayne Lewis Orr, Executive Director of Reed Business Publishing with responsibility for Hairdressers Journal and HJi), who beat stiff competition from the rest of the second year trainees to win five awards including:
- first place in the coveted L’Oreal Award for Colour
- first place in the Bonifacci Awards
- first place in the Autumn Colour Project
- first place in the Hairdressers Journal Front Cover Award
- overall winner of the HJ Front Cover with his ‘Epic Glamour’ image.
Marlow trainee Jess Strand was also delighted after winning 2nd place amongst the first year trainees in the L’Oreal Award for Colour and 3rd place in the Bonifacci Awards, while Rochelle Taylor scooped 2nd place amongst the second year trainees in the L’Oreal Award for Colour.
Congratulations Joe, Jess and Rochelle – we’re very proud of you!
