In a newsletter to its Loyalty Club members at the end of 2012, Haringtons Hairdressing committed to donate £1 for every member who visited their salon in January 2013. Thanks to this initiative, £1465 was raised and Business Development Director, David Lambert, was delighted to present a cheque to Breakthrough Breast Cancer representative, Lucille Richards, at their head office in Marlow, Bucks, on 22 May 2013.

Breakthrough Breast Cancer is dedicated to saving lives by finding the causes of breast cancer, improving detection, diagnosis, treatment and services. According to the charity, “We really couldn’t carry out our life saving work without the help of businesses and people like you.”

Having been in business for 27 years, and with over 200 employees working in 12 salons based in London and the South of England, Haringtons has consistently donated to national and local charities. In 2012 alone, over £25,000 was raised for national and local causes.

This is the first time that Haringtons has raised money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer and is very proud of the positive response of its Loyalty Club members.
