Men’s Hair Trends at Haringtons Hairdressing Group
Have you been sporting the same hairstyle for years? If the answer’s yes then it may be time for a change! We take a look at the top hairstyles for men to inspire you when it’s time for your next hair cut at your local Haringtons hair salon!
The Skin Fade plus Quiff
The basic concept with a Skin Fade is to have your hair very short of shaved at the nape of the neck, fading into slightly longer hair as it merges with the hair on top of your head.
Ask your stylist for a #2 or #3 on the sides and to fade your hair from there upwards so it gets slightly longer as it reaches your quiff.
It’s up to you how long you want your hair to be on top. It could be short and neat, quiffed and held in place with plenty of hair product or a massive pompadour-style quiff.
The Disconnected Undercut
What is a Disconnected Undercut?
This is when the sides of the hair are either cut extremely short or shaved – usually to one length all round – so it looks disconnected to the longer hair on top.
If you are in doubt as to which style will suit you, bring in a photo of some men’s hairstyles you think would work on your hair.
Talk to your Haringtons stylist who will advise you and help to work out the perfect hair cut for you.
Grow a Beard!
We know that a beard is not a hairstyle but there is no doubt that facial hair is here to stay for 2017!
If you fancy a change, hide that razor and start growing your beard now.
Not sure whether a full-on beard is going to suit you? Start off with some stubble and see how that looks.
Looking for a cool hairstyle to match your beardy look? Wear your hair longer, with a side parting and slick it back with some pomade.
Curly Hair For Gents
It’s time to embrace those curls! We can give you a masculine and manageable hair cut which is ideal for men who have curly or wavy hair.
We can add some layers, pair your curls with an undercut or give you a skin fade for an on-trend men’s hair cut.
When it comes to styling curly hair, our expert stylists can show you the right hair products and give you some great styling tips.
There are a number of ways you can style your curls from subtle, gentle waves to tight curls.
