Lauren Bell, senior stylist at our Wokingham salon, as well as being a member of the Haringtons junior art team has won a place on the prestigious Loreal ID artists National team. The I.D.artist programme is a two year development and networking scheme, involving world class education and mentoring combined with unique hairdressing opportunities, products reviews, presentation and communications training along with platform education opportunities.

Lauren’s winning model

Lauren’s presentation consisted of a fashion inspired look on her model, a mood board representing her ideas and a 3 minute presentation talking about the inspiration behind the look and the products used and she even had a dress especially made for her model …all in front of a panel of top hairdressers…… a little bit like the X-Factor!. She was shortlisted after getting 6 yes’s from the judging panel and won a place on the National team, which was fantastic as only two people are accepted from each region.

Charlotte Wickham, also from Haringtons Wokingham, after qualifying as a technician in August 2014, has got off to a flying start! Not only is she a member of the Haringtons Junior Art Team she also recently took part in the same prestigious competition to win a place in the L’Oreal I.D. artists programme. Charlotte was shortlisted with a positive 5 yes’s from the X factor style panel of 6 judges . Unfortunately, as the competition was so amazing, she didn’t quite make the final but is looking forward to the audition process next time and an exciting year ahead.
