Salon Behaviour Policy
This policy outlines the expected standards of behaviour for all clients and visitors at Haringtons. Our goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for everyone.
By visiting our salon and booking our services, you agree to adhere to these guidelines.
1. Client Behaviour
We are committed to providing a high-quality service in a respectful atmosphere. To ensure this, we ask that all clients adhere to the following:
Respectful Communication: Please treat all staff and other clients with courtesy and respect. Harassment, insults, or any form of verbal abuse towards our team or other clients will not be tolerated.
Punctuality: We kindly ask that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are running late, please inform us as soon as possible. Clients who are more than 15 minutes late may have their service adjusted or be asked to reschedule.
Service Expectations: We strive to meet your needs, but please be realistic with your expectations. We will always conduct a thorough consultation before starting any service.
Feedback: We welcome constructive feedback. If you are unhappy with a service, please discuss it with your stylist or a manager privately and professionally at the time of your appointment so we can resolve the issue. Please refer to our Complaints Policy for further information.
2. General Rules
These rules apply to everyone on the premises to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.
Supervision of Children: For their safety, children must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times and are not permitted in the styling or chemical service areas.
Personal Property: [Salon Name] is not responsible for any lost or damaged personal belongings.
Prohibited Items: The use of illegal substances or weapons is strictly prohibited on the premises. Anyone found with these items will be asked to leave immediately.
Smoking: Smoking, including e-cigarettes and vaping, is not permitted inside the salon.
Damage to Property: Clients will be held financially responsible for any damage caused to salon property.
Streaming Services- We hold an online streaming licence; however, we do not hold a TV licence. This means:
· Clients may stream licensed on-demand services (e.g., Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime) while connected to our WiFi.
· Clients may not stream live TV or BBC iPlayer content while connected to our WiFi
3. Consequences of Policy Violation
If any of these behavioural standards are violated, we reserve the right to take the following actions:
Refusal of Service: We may refuse to continue a service or ask a client to leave the salon immediately.
Refusal of Future Bookings: Clients who violate this policy may be refused future bookings at any Haringtons location to ensure the safety and well-being of our staff and other clients.
